Merry Christmas!!

Today is Christmas Day 2011.

Today is Our First Christmas.

Today I am so grateful for my families.  Both the old and the new. I love them all so much. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses and joys and sorrows. Each I love spending time with for different reasons. But however different they are, I love them all. Bisous.

Today, however, I am especially grateful for the one. My one. I love him so much. In fact, I love him more than ever. I feel so blessed to have found my one and only. He truly is perfect for me in every single way. I am so grateful to have the relationship that we do. There are no words to describe the happiness I feel today knowing that he is mine forever and that the decision to be married to him was the best decision I ever made. As we lay snuggled up in the twin bed at his sister’s house for Christmas Eve after talking until four….five….or six…., all I could think about was how utterly happy I am. I am not perfect, and he may not be perfect, but together – we are perfect.

So while Christmas’ will come and go, we will stay the same – forever united in the love we share for each other.
