Breakfast!

Good Morning Happy Valley!

We started out our morning with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and freshly pressed apple carrot juice. Our only full day in Happy Valley, we went through the best spots. The distribution center and deseret book. We spent quite the amount of time browsing through music, books, and got some personalized Italian scriptures. Heaven for an LDS member who’s never been to Utah. UVU – my place of residence eight months out of the year. It was quite fun to show her around – the classrooms, my favorite place in the library to study. Art City Trolley and the fabulous ALOHA! salad. We spent at least two hours devouring our fabulous salad we shared and talking about boys. I love me my girl time. A trip here would not be complete without a stop by the Public Library. We even checked out some CD’s. Walking up and down the mall window shopping – the Disney store, the Build a Bear Workshop, shoe shops, clothes stores, and music stores. We drove around and talked some more. The best part of the day was perhaps the hour to two hours we spent in the grocery store. It was like watching a kid in a candy store. Poptarts. Pickles. Eggnog. Dr Pepper. Twizlers. It was so fun just to walk up and down isles and talk about food and treats, what’s different and what’s the same. We came back for a little R&R before going to dinner. Checking email, talking, showing pictures, and having a fabulous time. We ended the evening at the Little Acorn – a hometown All-American Restaurant with the best french fries ever. It was quite the lovely day.
