Well yesterday was my first full day of juicing (if you can call it that, a full day I mean) and the first day of University AND the second time I’ve taken a computer generated herbal medicinal test. It seemed a lot longer than the first time I took one. However, I should probably start out with juicing. My dad was right. I can’t do a juicing cleanse/diet for two weeks. Point One: I hardly eat anyway, so taking away that which has substance and is completely healthy for me (all natural peanut butter, completely natural 100% whole grain bread, brown rice, organic tomato soup) makes what happened last afternoon happen (faint-ness, mood drop, energy plunge). Second Point: I can hardly get to school in general, so having to come home to juice is pretty much undoable and going with nothing for six hours is just not possible with my body. Point Three: In doing the computer test I realized I’m not toxic (I have very low levels of toxins in my body to begin with) so doing a detox is null. This test also showed that I am lacking in protein. I could have told you that, but with the previous statement combined I really need protein (I’m going to try and stick to vegetable and nut proteins). Last Point: Exhaustion. I can’t do an 84 hour work week and not get every nutrient I need, plus a hormone boost.
So basically what I learned is that I take really good care of my body and I just need to supplement certain aspects and watch out for others. The main problem with my body is hormones and we can work on that. Therefore, I’m switching into the last phase of my lifestyle change. Keep juicing with breakfast and dinner (but have a substantial meal for each aka: oatmeal, rice and beans respectively). Keep the good snacks throughout the day every two hours (fruits and veggies) and add the pb&h. Plus keep the water. The main things I have to watch out for are preservatives and sugary/salty things. All natural. 100% natural. Organic. All-Organic. These are ALL better than anything else.
I knew as I started this week I had to pay attention to how I felt and adjust. Testing concluded. Adjusting made.
