It’s 2012!
I rang the new year in with my french sister, my husband, and my whole family in the burg. I just absolutely loved my weekend with my family. We talked, played board games, ate fabulous food, fun fireworks time, and had a toast to the new year. I really have no idea of what I want out of 2012 except that I will be in school the entire year and that I hope I can handle it. Other than that there are no life changing events planned. I do plan however, to enjoy the time I have with my husband, family, and friends while I am in close proximity to them. I’ve always loved the goal making that comes with the new year. I make goals/resolutions for every semester of school and at the start of every summer. I already made my spring semester goals so I decided to make a specific ‘this whole year’, 2012 New Year Resolutions, that were different from my semester goals which are more school oriented.
They are:
- Talk to my good friends more
- Hang out with friends more
- No sugar; including and limited to candy, chocolate, pop, and sugary drinks {except for December}
- Run every day between May 1-September 1
- Remember birthdays and put forth effort :)
- No milk {except for maybe cooking, I still need to try unsweetened soy and almond milk}, low amounts of cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products
- Meat once a week or once a day {still deciding}
- Visit my grandparents at least 3 times, I miss vacationing there
- Enjoy me, who I am now.
- Enjoy me time. Make me time.
- Get my migraines to stop
Since I’ve always been so goal oriented, sticking to goals has never really been a problem {unless I made them unattainable}. I love the feeling of accomplishment. It feels so warm and fuzzy. :)
